It's not a disease, actually. It's some sort of...............trend, I think.
Aaaand, this so-called trend is Snail Poisoning (keracunan keong, -red).
No, no literally, I said it's not a disease! No such thing as real poisonous snail that spreads disease in Indonesia, it's just the title of a Dangdut song which translated into English. The original title is Keong Racun, sang by a singer named Lissa.

What made this song become a trend was actually two teenage girls from Bandung who had their lipsync video of this song posted in YouTube. Right, you can click here to check it out. They weren't only did lipsync to Keong Racun, but also to some other songs. Not surprisingly, Keong Racun immediately became the first Trending Topic in Twitter.

crappy drawing that I made earlier-_-

Frankly speaking, I don't really enjoy their videos. I used to enjoy the song, it's funny in its own way. What do you expect from two teenage girls who recorded their lipsync videos and then posted it on YouTube? Their face, I have to admit, are cute. But after I watched a TV show where they were interviewed live, I changed my mind. They're not that cute. After all, everyone can do lipsync and silly dance, then record it and post it to the internet.

I'm not contra nor pro, but I just wanna say this, to be honest why so proud? :)
